In our last blog post, we caught up on our recent awards and recognitions, but today, we want to bring you up to speed on several upcoming events that Rescue Dog Wines is involved with and some that we’ll even be attending You can always keep tabs on our running list of upcoming and past events on the Events page, but read below to get a more personal, in-depth look at each one, and what it means to the Rescue Dog Wines cause.
Upcoming Events
St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival
When: May 4–8, 2022
Where: Several locations throughout St. Augustine, FL
Location fun fact: St. Augustine claims to be the United States’ oldest continuously occupied city, founded in 1565 by Spanish admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés.

The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival is a five-day showcase of culinary, beverage, and culture that highlights celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/proprietors, local chefs, artisans, and local craft spirits/beer.
Rescue Dog Wines will donate wine for tasting as well as for auctions to raise money for the event’s chosen charities.
Animals on Broadway
When: May 23, 2022
Where: Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek, CA

Location fun fact: Broadway Plaza is an open-air shopping center with 80 specialty shops.
Animals on Broadway is a fundraiser, walk, festival, and an annual opportunity to gather the whole family, including pets, to help save lives. Every dollar raised will be used to support the Animal Rescue Foundation’s lifesaving programs.
Rescue Dog Wines will be donating wine for the event’s wine pull, and some of our team members will be in attendance to speak about our wine and mission.
“We are very excited about being part of Animals on Broadway again,” said Lott. “Rescue Dog Wines participated last year, but it was a virtual event, so the team is thrilled to get out and be around people this year.”
“Laura and I will personally be in attendance at the St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival,” said Blair Lott, Vintner of Rescue Dog Wines. “It will be our first event in Florida, and we are looking forward to meeting with both wine and dog lovers. Those are some of the best, most fun people you will ever meet!”
LAWineFest 2022
When: June 4–5, 2022
Where: Harry Bridges Memorial Park, Long Beach, CA
Location Fun fact: The Harry Bridges Memorial Park is named after Harry Bridges, an Australian seaman who, after experiencing unsafe working conditions while longshoring in San Francisco, formed the International Longshore and Warehouse Union.

The LAWineFest brings wines, brews, and people from around the world together in a relaxed, accessible environment. It delivers a sun-kissed outdoor event that balances fun, exploration, and education with all things wine. The fest also serves up boutiques to browse, artisan merchandise to buy, and more.
Like the St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival, Rescue Dog Wines will donate wine for tasting as well as for auctions to fundraise for the festival’s charity partners.
“The LAWineFest allows people to taste our wines in a festive atmosphere,” shared Lott. “And you can’t complain about it being in sunny LA!”
